POSITIONS OFFERED AT MARINELLO SCHOOLS

The company currently owns and operates 44 accredited schools throughout California, Arizona, Oregon, Nevada and Utah. Marinello Schools have ongoing job openings in the following categories. We have both Full Time and Part Time openings. We offer a full benefits package and a rewarding career!

Instructor

Cosmetology: Instruct students on the skills necessary to become a licensed cosmetologist including haircutting, coloring, perming, and styling as well as manicuring, pedicuring, and facials.

Esthetician: Instruct students in skin care including facials, makeup application, eyebrow shaping and eyelash application as well as superfluous hair removal. Teach the skills necessary to become an esthetician, and makeup artist.

Nail Technician: Instruct students in the basic skills of nail care including manicures and pedicures, artificial nail enhancements, nail art, and salon development.

Massage Therapist: Instruct students in the skills of massage therapy. Including basic and advanced massage techniques.

Requirements: Related License, Postsecondary Voc. Education Instructor's Certificate, and State Board Teacher's License*. Full-time day and Part-time night positions available. Full-time instructors are eligible for full benefits package. Multiple school openings.  

*If you do not have a State Board Teacher's License, you can complete the Teacher's Training Course at Marinello. A minimum of 5 years experience in your field is necessary before receiving your Teacher Training.

Registrar/Financial Aid Officer

Receives, reviews, compiles, and evaluates applications, transcripts, and other specialized documents and recommends on acceptance or rejection; processes enrollment and withdrawal of students; maintains student records, program, grade, and personal records; prepares correspondence, bulletins and reports in relation to the work of the office; answers inquiries and assists administrators, advisors, students, parents, teachers and other agencies concerning scholastic programs, graduation requirements, and admissions and withdrawals; interviews students to determine eligibility for financial aid; compiles information for financial aid file.

 Admissions Advisor

Receives, records, and monitors all telephone, fax, email or personal inquiries from interested potential students utilizing effective time management and organizational processes. Maintains accurate records of applicant inquiries, determines marketing sourcing data and completes all regularly scheduled reports and tracking information. Conducts preliminary telephone fact finding during the initial call or visit while establishing a strong rapport with the client and the setting of timely appointments for an interview at the individual campus. Completes an initial contact data sheet for data input. Presents the information in an acceptable, informal and informational format as prescribed by the company and in keeping with the current established company sales/admissions practice.

 Placement Coordinator

Coordinates and assists in job search and placement for students of a specific training program. Maintains confidential student and referral records. Administers job surveys and skills inventory questionnaires. Delivers and/or coordinates presentations, workshops, and seminars, as appropriate to the position.

 Administrative Assistant

Skillfully prepare statistical and written reports as well as presentations for management. General PC proficiency and strong skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required, along with experience composing a number of types of professional documents. Must be very organized, exude a positive image that reflects well on the organization and be familiar with shipping, receiving and inventory control. A high school diploma and basic office skills proficiency are minimum requirements.

Receptionist

Experience with handling cash and customer service. Salon experience helpful. Full-time and Part-time positions. Variable Hours. Some Locations are Bi-Lingual Spanish. Full-time positions are eligible for benefits.

Beauty Industry Specialist

Positions are available for experienced Salon and Spa operators,  Service specialists, Beauty Products specialists, Makeup and Modeling instructors.

Recent College Graduates

If you are a recent college graduate with related degrees and wish to start a career in the Beauty Schools Industry, we encourage you to apply for one of our positions. We are willing to train you and help you achieve success in our organization. 

Management Positions

Marinello Schools accept applications for management positions in Education, Management, Financial Aid, Admissions, Placement, Salon and Spa Operations and Marketing. Positions are at the School, District, Region or Corporate levels. Appropriate and related experience is necessary.
